The Dolphin lamp, designed in the 1950’s, is inspired by the Dolphin Pond in Villa Bologna’s splendid gardens. These majestic creatures are also part of Malta’s heritage, having appeared on Malta’s coat of arms in the past. Wander round the shady streets of the islands and you’ll no doubt see a dolphin-shaped door knocker or two… The Dolphin is also available as a wall light.

This lamp fits the standard E27 screw-in lightbulb and has a cream braided three core flex with an in-line switch. It comes fitted a standard UK 3 pin plug.

All our products are handmade and handpainted one piece at a time. Due to this process, there may be a minor variances in size, shape or colour, from one item to the next. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade and hand painted ceramics, but this what makes them so unique.

Please note, due to the high temperature at which the Dolphin lamp is fired, natural inconsistencies can occur, which means the bulb fitting may not always sit perfectly flush. This is normal and you will be able to correct any unevenness with a lampshade.
